Weddings and Honeymoons and Anniversaries, oh my! Time for a Babymoon!

by Innkeeper on September 2, 2011

It’s been a summer of love here At Willow Pond B&B, as our schedule has been packed with couples celebrating their anniversaries,  as well as spending their wedding night and honeymoon with us, many of them making use of our “Sweetheart of a Deal” package. Kudos to many of the guys, for taking care of the planning (with a little help from us) to surprise their sweethearts with something special.

Don personalized the romantic (Vegan) dinner by the pond for Christina with the glasses they used for the toast at their wedding, as well the candles and their wedding vows—that Don is a romantic! Don & Christina's romantic dinner by the pond.Jay planned the much needed escape for his sweetheart Mouna for their anniversary (they have six children!) and we set up a table in the shady front yard for their dinner (it was HOT out). Mouna already knew the charm of staying at a B&B, but Jay was a new convert and he loved it! (Yea!) Shane had fun keeping his 1st anniversary plans a secret from his wife until they walked up to the front door! He also snuck in the topper from their wedding cake they had saved, and I served it with desert for their romantic dinner at the picnic table under the umbrella on the back patio. Another surprise for Elizabeth! Too bad freezer burn had attacked their cake and they were only able to choke down a small symbolic piece. Good thing I also made them home made cherry vanilla ice cream! Even the chickens were suspicious when they tried to feed them the rest of their cake, and our chicken will eat just about anything. Jeremy and Gracie just went to the grocery store and brought back food to cook on our grill. They ate their first dinner as husband and wife on our back porch–how sweet!

With all that romance going on, it seems only logical that the next step is a Babymoon! So here it is our new Babymoon Package:

Take some precious time alone as a couple before the baby comes—two nights in our Northwest Suite.  Enjoy breakfast in bed one morning of your stay, later a special one hour massage in your room by a certified massage therapist for the mama to be (Daddy can ask to schedule one too), and then soak by candlelight in the extra deep tub with aromatic bath salts.  Take home a basket of pampering bath & body goodies selected just for expectant mothers. We’ll even stock your room with extra snacks for those late night pregnancy cravings (a little salty, a little sweet).  ($365)

Next blog post–what do people come to At Willow Pond for besides the romance.
